SPOILERS LIE AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ‘THE HANDMAID’S TALE’ SEASON 1
At the end of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ season 1, Offred found out that she was finally pregnant but after defying orders from Aunt Lydia at an execution, she’s picked up and put on one of those ominous black vans bound for an unknown destination.
Judging by the first look at season 2, Offred doesn’t appear to be an any better of a situation as she’s seen early on wearing a mask similar to the one her friend Ofglen was seen wearing just before she was mutilated as punishment for being a lesbian.
Set to the haunting sounds of Malia J’s cover of the Buffalo Springfield classic “For What It’s Worth”, the first trailer for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ season 2 gives a look at Offred as well as many of the other characters from the series including Moira, who has relocated to Canada and reunited with Lucas as well as an emotional Aunt Lydia, who seemed distraught at the end of last season when she was ordered to kill one of her own girls.
