The full length trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 has finally arrived with a much deeper look at what lies ahead….
Is Offred finally free from her enslavement?
At the end of The Handmaid’s Tale season one, Offred was hauled off in a transport vehicle, seemingly captured by the government of Gilead for some sort of wrong doing just after she discovered that she was carrying a child.
Now as season 2 picks up, it appears that Offred is taking back her real name and she’s ready to fight for her freedom, to fight for the child inside of her and to fight to get her family back.
Meanwhile, the Commander and his wife are trying to get Offred back after she was taken from them last season. Of course, Serena is convinced that the Gilead government will think that they conspired with Offred if she’s determined to be some sort of freedom fighter.
In the midst of all these, we get a deeper look at the colonies — the nuclear wasteland where bad folks are sent to work until the day they finally expire.
