Carrie Anne Moss — best known for her role in all three ‘Matrix’ movies as well as ‘Disturbia’ — will star in the new Marvel series ‘AKA Jessica Jones’ alongside Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and David Tennant.
Marvel confirmed the casting on Monday.
Moss will play “a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica…if Jessica doesn’t completely alienate her first.”
‘AKA Jessica Jones’ is the second series from Marvel headed to Netflix after ‘Daredevil’ debuts this April.
The new series focused on a former superhero who starts a private investigations agency before being pulled back into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities.
‘AKA Jessica Jones’ will launch in late 2015.
