‘The Punisher’ is back.
Season 2 of the ultra-violent Marvel-Netflix series will drop next Friday, January 18 but the first full length trailer was finally released on Thursday with a deeper look at what lies ahead when Frank Castle is pulled back into his life as the world’s deadliest vigilante.
Set the soundtrack from ‘Would’ by Alice in Chains, it appears Castle gets drawn into a whole new war after saving a girl’s life at a concert and then doing everything possible to protect her from whatever harm is coming her way.
Add to that, Frank’s former friend Billy Russo is back after he was beaten and broken in ‘The Punisher’ season 1 finale except now with scars lining his entire face the villain known as ‘Jigsaw’ has put together an army to bring Castle down.
From the look of things, there are plenty of new faces and several returning cast members from the first season as well.
