Take a look at the teaser for “The Walking Dead” season 10 finale, which will feature Maggie’s return after a season away from the show…
Maggie Rhee is back!
In a new teaser just released for “The Walking Dead” season 10 finale, we get our first look at Lauren Cohan making her highly anticipated return to the series after exiting the show in the middle of season 9.
Cohan inked a new contract with “The Walking Dead’ to return as a series regular in season 11 but she was expected to make at least one appearance on the show before season 10 came to a close. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic forced “The Walking Dead” to delay the debut of the season finale because post production work hadn’t been finished prior to studios shutting down to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.
While we still don’t know when “The Walking Dead” season 10 finale will air, the first glimpse of Maggie’s return was teased in a new video released on Sunday night after episode No. 15 aired.
In the teaser we see the survivors at the hospital preparing for the onslaught of the horde led to their front doors by Beta and the Whisperers. Inside, everyone is scrambling for safety but Father Gabriel tells some frightened children that the might of all the communities combined together will be able to withstand this war. Those communities include Alexandria, Hilltop, Oceanside, the Kingdom and one more group of people…
Meanwhile we see Eugene, Yumiko, Ezekiel and Princess biking their way to a rendezvous to meet with the mysterious Stephanie. We also find Virgil arriving at Oceanside after we last saw him left alone on a deserted island after his interaction with Michonne where we assumed he would stay until his death. There’s also a cutaway of Aaron and Alden fighting against the Whisperers and a mysterious new character arrives wearing a mask and carrying duel blades.
And finally we see a familiar face pick up a literal message in a bottle with a note from Carol explaining the war with the Whisperers and how Enid, Tara and many others have been killed. The letter is asking for help in this fight and the person it’s addressed to is finally revealed as Maggie.
Take a look at the teaser trailer featuring Maggie’s long awaited return to “The Walking Dead” with the season 10 finale still expected to air sometime later this year on AMC.
