“The Walking Dead” revealed plenty of news during New York Comic Con including a debut date for “The Ones Who Live” as well as Melissa McBride returning as Carol for ‘Daryl Dixon’ season 2….
There was plenty of news from “The Walking Dead” universe that debuted at New York Comic Con on Thursday including an update and new cast members added to “The Ones Who Live,” which will welcome back Rick Grimes and Michonne.
The upcoming series is now slated to debut on AMC in February 2024 with a new teaser released on Thursday, which you can watch below.
There was also news about cast members joining the series including “Lost” favorite Terry O’Quinn portraying a character named Beale while Matt Jeffries joins the cast as Nat. Pollyanna McIntosh is also officially returning as her character Jadis after previously appearing in both “The Walking Dead” and another spinoff with “The Walking Dead: World Beyond.”

“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept apart by distance. By an unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Meanwhile, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” is already in production on season series star Norman Reedus but the show will also welcome back another fan favorite when Melissa McBride returns as Carol Peletier.
In fact, the new season of “Daryl Dixon” will focus heavily on Carol’s return with the title for the show revealed as “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol.”
The series is already in production on season 2 in France with a debut date expected in 2024.
