‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Trailer Debuts and It’s Pretty Awesome (VIDEO)

Get you first look at ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ with a new teaser trailer released on Monday…

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ won’t land in theaters until November, but we’ve got our first look at the latest sequel from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This time around, Thor goes up against the evil Hela — the Norse Goddess of Death — who is out to destroy Asgard and it appears she does a good enough job after smashing Mjolnir aka Thor’s indestructible hammer of the gods.

From there it appears Thor gets dropped onto Sakaar where he’s dropped into a gladiator pit where he’s set to battle someone “incredible” in the night’s main event. It turns out that Thor will be facing off with the Hulk and while his well timed line, which also happens to be the best of the entire trailer — “We know each other, he’s a friend from work!” — he still ends up going fist to fist with his Avengers teammate.

And yes, even Loki makes an appearance.

Thus far, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ seems like the most light hearted and still well put together film of the franchise but it’s impossible to tell how things will turn out based on one trailer. Still, the first two ‘Thor’ movies were arguably some of the weakest of the entire Marvel film franchise but so far it looks like the third movie will be a little more ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and a little less ‘Thor: The Dark World’.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ lands in theaters on November 3.
