The first trailer for the new series from ‘The Walking Dead’ has debuted ahead of the series launch in spring 2020 on AMC…
There’s a new series coming from ‘The Walking Dead’ that still doesn’t have a title but the show now has a trailer.
On Saturday, ‘The Walking Dead’ debuted the trailer for the new series at New York Comic Con giving fans a first look at the latest spinoff from the original series from creator Robert Kirkman.
This new series takes place 10 years after the zombie apocalypse has started with a group of kids who have grown up with the world falling down around them. The rest of ‘The Walking Dead’ series have shown how people have adapted to a world where the dead rule but these kids actually grew up in the midst of the zombie apocalypse so it addresses how it would change them for the future.
Here’s the official synopsis from AMC:
“The third installment of the franchise will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.”
The third ‘Walking Dead’ series stars Aliyah Royale as Iris, Alexa Mansour as Hope, Annet Mahendru as Huck, Nicolas Cantu as Elton, Hal Cumpston as Silas, and Nico Tortorella as Felix with Scott M. Gimple and Matt Negrete acting as showrunners for the new series.
There’s no telling when the new ‘Walking Dead’ series will get an official title but the show is quickly moving towards a debut in spring 2020 on AMC.
In the meantime, check out the first trailer for the new ‘Walking Dead’ series coming to AMC next year.
