The first full trailer for “American Horror Story” season 10 has arrived with the first part of a two-part season titled “Double Feature”…
One if by land, two if by sea…
That seems to be the philosophy guiding “American Horror Story’ season 10 titled “Double Feature” with the first trailer for the first half of 10 total episodes debuting this week.
Unlike past seasons, “American Horror Story: Double Feature” will be split into two parts — the first called “Red Tide” that takes up the initial five episodes, which is previewed in the new trailer. Prior to the season, series creator Ryan Murphy teased that the show would feature two parts with one taking place by the sea and the other taking place on land.
How those two things will tie together — if at all — remains to be seen.
What we can gather from the new trailer is that “American Horror Story: Double Feature” starts with a struggling writer and his family moving to an idyllic town called Provincetown, Mass. The place is supposed to help breakthrough a serious case of writer’s block for the father of the family but his pregnant wife is getting some eerie vibes from the townspeople not to mention some sharp-toothed sea creatures who soon come calling with terrifying reality.
The first half of the new season titled “Red Tide” will star Finn Wittrock and Lily Rabe in lead roles but also feature several “American Horror Story” alums such as Evan Peters, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, and Angelica Ross not to mention newcomer Macauley Culkin, who also appears in the trailer.
