It’s gonna take everything Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence can muster to topple the Cobra Kai dojo after Sensei John Kreese seeks out his old friend Terry Silver for some help.
That’s the tease featured in the new “Cobra Kai” season 4 trailer ahead of the series return on December 31 on Netflix.
The ongoing “Karate Kid” spinoff will feature a whole new dynamic after season 3 ended with Johnny and Daniel putting their grudge to bed and forming an alliance while also combining their dojos in order to do battle with Kreese and Cobra Kai.
Of course, the upcoming season of “Cobra Kai” will also feature the return of Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver — the wealthy industrialist who bank rolled Kreese to take down Daniel and Mr. Miyagi back in “The Karate Kid Part III” and now he’s back to finish what he started all those years ago.
Here’s the full synopsis for “Cobra Kai” season 4 from Netflix:
“Season 4 finds the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos joining forces to take down Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament… and whoever loses must hang up their gi. As Samantha and Miguel try to maintain the dojo alliance and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the fate of the Valley has never been more precarious. What tricks does Kreese have up his sleeve? Can Daniel and Johnny bury their decades-long hatchet to defeat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the face of karate in the valley?”
The trailer features plenty of hints about the battle to come this season as well as the culmination of the fight taking place at the All-Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament.
