The new trailer for “Cobra Kai” season 5 has arrived as Terry Silver’s takeover continues with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence getting out of the karate business…
When “Cobra Kai” season 4 ended, Terry Silver had helped orchestrate a win for his dojo in the final match at the All-Valley tournament, which helped him defeat rivals Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
Now as season 5 begins with the first full trailer release on Tuesday, Silver has completely taken over the valley by opening several Cobra Kai dojos and enlisting some new help as he continues his expansion. Meanwhile, a defeated Daniel decides to close down Miyagi-do karate before eventually turning to old rival turned ally Chozen to help him restore the spirit that his teacher gave him so many years ago.
As for Johnny, he’s now serving as an Uber driver — and not exactly getting stellar reviews — but he eventually decides to pack up for Mexico to go look for Miguel, who went on a mission to track down his father.
Oh and don’t forget John Kreese, who is currently serving time in jail after he was framed by Terry to take him out of the picture as he completely absorbed Cobra Kai as his own.
It looks like a battle is brewing once Johnny, Daniel and Chozen team up together to face off with Terry Silver and his new Cobra Kai academies.
