The final trailer for Halloween Ends has arrived with a deeper look at the last battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers…
“He killed my daughter but tonight I will kill him. Come and get me.”
Those haunting words from Jamie Lee Curtis highlight the final trailer for Halloween Ends — which drops in theaters and on the Peacock streaming service on October 14.
Curtis has said this will end her journey as Laurie Strode — a part she first played in the original Halloween all the way back in 1978 but now she will return for one final confrontation with the boogeyman himself.
When Halloween Kills ended, Michael Myers lived up to his unkillable reputation after taking out a mob sent to finish him and he ultimately returned to his boyhood home where he found Laurie’s daughter Karen. Michael killed Karen before escaping police custody and disappearing for the next four years.
That’s where Halloween Ends picks up. Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
“Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.”
The new trailer teases a bit more about Michael’s return to Haddonfield after he disappeared that fateful night four years earlier as he prepares for a last showdown with Laurie. The trailer also teases Laurie wondering if perhaps it will take her own death to finally stop Michael from coming back again and again.
