The first look at “Halloween Ends” has arrived with a new trailer that pits Michael Myers against Laurie Strode in a final battle for survival…
“Come get me, motherfucker!”
Those words from Laurie Strode set the stage for a final battle against Michael Myers in the first look at “Halloween Ends” with the new trailer dropping on Tuesday.
The third film in the latest “Halloween” trilogy from director David Gordon Green will land in theaters on October 14 and it will bring to a close a saga for Jamie Lee Curtis that dates back to the original film from 1978.
When “Halloween Kills” ended, Michael Myers miraculously survived a mob attempting to kill him and he eventually returned to his boyhood home where he encountered Laurie’s daughter Karen. Michael ultimately kills Karen while Laurie is still recovering from the wounds she suffered from her previous encounter with “The Shape.”
Here’s the official synopsis for “Halloween Ends”
“Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.”
“Halloween Ends” will serve as the last time that Curtis will portray the ultimate final girl as she goes against Michael Myers in a fight where neither one of them may survive.
