Sydney Sweeney births a new kind of horror in her upcoming film “Immaculate” and the first trailer has arrived ahead of the release in March…
Sydney Sweeney remains one of the most talked about actresses on the planet and she’ll lead a new horror film called “Immaculate” that’s due out on March 22.
The first trailer for the upcoming film has now been released with Sweeney portraying a devout nun who discovers that she’s with child, except it appears she didn’t get pregnant by the normal means.
Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
“Sydney Sweeney (Anyone But You, Euphoria, The White Lotus) stars as Cecilia, an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Cecilia’s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.”
The film was written by relative newcomer Andrew Lobel with Michael Mohan directing after he previously worked with Sweeney on the Amazon produced film “The Voyeurs.”
“Immaculate” co-stars Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco, who is probably best known for her recent Emmy nominated role in the second season of the hit HBO series “The White Lotus.”
