The fifth “Indiana Jones” film officially titled “Dial of Destiny” had its first trailer debut on Thursday ahead of the film’s release on June 30, 2023…
Indiana Jones is ready for one last adventure.
On Thursday, the first trailer for the new film “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” debuted as Harrison Ford prepares to play the archeologist and adventurer one last time for the upcoming sequel directed by James Mangold.
This is the fifth film in the franchise and first movie since “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” landed in theaters back in 2008.
While plot details around the new film remain a mystery, Ford has stated this will be his final appearance as Indiana Jones — a role he originated all the way back in 1981 with “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
“Indiana Jones movies are about mystery and adventure, but they’re also about heart,” Ford said about the new film at Disney’s D23 convention in August. “And I’m really, really happy that we have a really human story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass.”
Ford will be joined on this final adventure by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory), John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Kretschmann (Das Boot), Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Oliver Richters (Black Widow), Ethann Isidore (Mortel) and Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore).
Take a look at the new trailer and get ready to join Indiana Jones for one last globe trotting adventure when the film lands in theaters on June 30.
