The first look at “Loki” season 2 has arrived ahead of the debut in October with the God of Mischief running afoul of the sacred timeline…
The first look at “Loki” season 2 has arrived and it includes Jonathan Majors’ return as Kang the Conquerer.
The series debuts on Disney+ on October 6 but there had been questions if perhaps the show might get delayed due to the ongoing legal drama surrounding Majors, who was charged with assault after he was accused of domestic violence back in March. Majors’ case is scheduled for trial in August but since his initial arrest, there have been more accusations made against him for physical and verbal abuse of past partners.
That called into question whether or not Majors would remain a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after he actually made his debut in the “Loki” season 1 finale before he eventually appeared in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
His character, Kang the Conquerer, is the centerpiece of the ongoing saga happening at Marvel with plans to conclude the story in a pair of “Avengers” films titled “The Kang Dynasty” and “Secret War.”
While it remains to be seen what might happen in the future, Majors still makes an appearance during the “Loki” season 2 trailer, which reunites series stars Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, as they travel through time trying to fix what was broken back in season 1 when Loki’s own variant Sylvie opted to kill the Kang variant pulling the strings rather than just take over his role as the singular person responsible for preventing the multiverse from spiraling out of control.
By the look of things, Loki and his pal Mobius have their work cut out for them.
For now, watch the new trailer for “Loki” season 2 and get ready for the debut on Oct. 6 on Disney+.
