Get a first look at the new trailers for “Loki,” “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” “What If…?” plus the debut footage of the new “Ms. Marvel”…
A lot of new series are headed to Disney+ from Marvel Studios and we got our first look at many of them during an investor meeting on Thursday.
Marvel Studios has a huge number of shows headed to the streaming service with the first — “WandaVision” — set to debut in January followed by “Falcon and Winter Soldier.”
Before we get to those, Marvel dropped a surprise trailer to the upcoming “Loki” limited series, which will see Tom Hiddleston reprise his famous role in an alternate universe take on the character.
During “Avengers: Endgame,” Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Ant-Man traveled back in time in order to retrieve the infinity stones long before they fell into Thanos’ hands and he wiped out half of life in the universe. As they attempted to steal the Tesseract, which contained the Space stone, an unplanned Hulk rage stopped the team from completing their mission and during the melee Loki escaped custody, stole back the infinity stone and disappeared into parts unknown.
That created an alternate timeline and universe separate from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that’s where this particular story will take place because Loki in the current timeline was killed by Thanos.
The first trailer is nothing less than bizarre and that can only promise for a crazy season ahead for “Loki.” Take a look at that trailer above.
Meanwhile, “WandaVision” will drop in January and a second trailer for that also debuted on Thursday. This series will reunite Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch in a trippy sitcom adventure alongside Paul Bettany, who returns as the Vision.

On March 19, the long awaited series “Falcon and The Winter Soldier” will finally debut with Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their roles from several Marvel feature films. This time the duo is teaming up in the wake of Captain America’s sacrifice where he helped save the universe but then decided he wanted a life of his own before he finally rejoined Peggy Carter after the events of World War II.
Cap handed over his famous shield to his friend Sam aka The Falcon as he officially retired and now he’s facing the reality in his new role. Sam will be teaming up with Cap’s other best friend, Bucky Barnes, as they are sent on a worldwide mission that also involves Baron Zemo with Daniel Bruhl returning from the role he originated in “Captain America: Civil War.”

There’s also a new animated series headed to Disney+ that takes off from a famous comic book series of the same name. “What If…?” is an animated series that poses the question about the fate of many of the biggest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe if they were put into a different situation than how we know them now. For instance, one story will ask what if Peggy Carter received the super serum instead of Steve Rogers?
Another theorizes what if T’Challa had been discovered by the Ravagers and eventually become Star-Lord instead of the Black Panther? That particular story will feature the late Chadwick Boseman voicing Black Panther for the final time.
Jeffrey Wright voices The Watcher, who leads the series while asking these various questions before watching the stories unfold on “What If…?”.

Finally, Marvel also revealed a brief clip from “Ms. Marvel,” the new series headed to Disney+ in the near future. Newcomer Iman Vellani will play Kamala Khan in the series with the character then eventually appearing in “Captain Marvel 2” alongside Brie Larson.

All of these series will stream on Disney+ starting with “WandaVision” in January followed by “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” in March.
