The first trailer for the final season of “Mayans M.C.” has arrived and it appears EZ Reyes won’t stop until he wins the war with the Sons of Anarchy…
It appears EZ Reyes will not stop until only the Mayans or the Sons of Anarchy are left standing.
That’s the tease at the heart of the new trailer for the final season of “Mayans M.C.” which will bring the “Sons of Anarchy” spinoff to an end with the debut set for May 24 on FX.
When “Mayans M.C.” season 4 ended, EZ Reyes made a power move to oust club founder Marcus Alvarez and he took over as the new president of the Santo Padre chapter. EZ then named Bishop as his new vice president while also announcing plans to partner with a powerful drug cartel in Mexico to distribute drugs, which when then allow the club to flourish financially so they could eventually win the bloody war they’ve been waging with the Sons.
Sadly, EZ’s plans went up in flames after an unknown assailant set fire to a warehouse filled with cartel heroin that was supposed to serve as the bedrock of the new partnership with the Mayans. Add to that, Isaac — the psychopathic former leader of Meth Mountain who also happened to be a member of the Sons of Anarchy — has returned with vengeance on his mind.
Despite Alvarez’s best efforts to end the war between the Mayans and the Sons, it looks like EZ and Isaac are set on a collision course that could destroy both clubs before it’s all over.
The new trailer appears to show EZ at odds with several members of his club but none more so than his own brother Angel, who was concerned about the moves his sibling was making even before he took over as the Santo Padre president. EZ promises he knows what he’s doing but as tensions escalate and the body count rises, it remains to be seen if he’ll survive his term leading the Mayans.
