The new “Black Widow” trailer teases what Natasha Romanoff’s life was before she become one of The Avengers…
It appears “Black Widow” will finally be released on July 9 in theaters as well as Disney+ for an extra fee and with that comes a new trailer for the long awaited solo movie featuring Scarlett Johansson.
While details surrounding the plot have largely been kept secret, what we know about “Black Widow” is that this film takes place after the events in “Captain America: Civil War” but before “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Natasha goes home to confront the ghosts of her past where she was raised as a Russian operative before being sent out into the field for any number of dangerous missions.
Of course, Johansson won’t be alone on this adventure because Oscar nominated actress Florence Pugh will be playing her “sister” in the movie as well as David Harbour and Rachel Weisz both playing roles as well.
It’s unknown what this film means for the future of Black Widow as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe considering the character died in “Avengers: Endgame” but anything seems possible and comic books rarely keep anyone dead for too long.
For now, take a look at the new trailer for “Black Widow” and get ready for the movie’s release on July 9.
