The first look at the final season of “Riverdale” has arrived with the cast traveling back in time to 1955 yet only one of them remembers why….
The final season of “Riverdale” will kick off on The CW starting on Wednesday, March 29 but the first trailer has just debuted with a time-traveling twist on these last remaining episodes.
When “Riverdale” season 6 ended, all of the characters were suddenly transported back in time to 1955 after defeating the evil Percival Pickens to save the town but now they’ve got to figure out why they’re no longer in the present day.
The only problem — Jughead seems to be the one member of his group of friends who actually remembers that they are out of time like Marty McFly and he has to try and convince the rest of them that the lives they are leading shouldn’t happen in 1955.
The trailer shows all sorts of mixed up couples including Archie dating Cheryl and Betty hooking up with Kevin — and that’s just the start of the weirdness happening in this final season.
By the look of things there will be plenty of returning characters sprinkled throughout this final season as “Riverdale” begins to move towards the last episodes of the series.
