The new trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” showcases an epic battle between father and son after Shang-Chi attempts to move beyond his family’s legacy…
The new full length trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” has arrived ahead of the film’s release on September 3.
The upcoming film centers around a family with a complicated legacy as a father attempts to impart upon his son the importance and the necessary dedication required to control the mystical and powerful ten rings.
When Shang-Chi decides he no longer wants to be part of his father’s world, he leaves home and attempts to start a normal life out on his own. Unfortunately, he soon finds out that no matter where he goes, his family’s legacy is never far behind him.
Simu Liu starts as Shang-Chi while Tony Leung playing his father Wenwu. Of course rumors have abounded that Wenwu’s identity in the Ten Rings organization is actually The Mandarin — an infamous villain from Marvel Comics history, who previously appeared in “Iron Man 3” only to be discovered that an actor was pretending to play the dangerous criminal.
The trailer also features Shang-Chi at a fight of some kind inside a thunder dome and the gigantic opponent standing on the other side of the cage appears to be the Abomination — the famous Hulk villain played in a past Marvel film by Tim Roth.
It’s already been previously confirmed that Roth would be returning as Abomination in the upcoming “She-Hulk” series starring Tatiana Maslany but it appears he might also show up in “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” but there’s no official confirmation that’s the creature involved in this unique fight setting.
For now, check out the new trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” with the film set for release on Sept. 3.
