The first look at the new Marvel series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” has arrived as Jennifer Walters represents a different kind of Hulk than her famous cousin…
The first look at “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” arrived on Tuesday as part of Disney’s upfront presentations with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige presenting a trailer along with a debut date on Disney+ for the nine-episode season on August 17.
The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters — cousin to Bruce Banner aka The Hulk — and she has a whole different set of problems than the family member who also happens to be an Avenger. Here’s the plot synopsis for the new series:
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.”
Rumors had swirled for months that “She-Hulk” would end up being as much a comedy as it would be a typical Marvel action series and that seems to hold true based on the first trailer.
Obviously it appears Mark Ruffalo will play a major role in the series rather than just a cameo appearance as Smart Hulk — a moniker he first adapted during the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
For now, check out the new trailer for “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and get ready for the series to debut on August 17 on Disney+.
