New footage from “Stranger Things” season 4 has arrived as Eleven writes a letter to Mike that promises the best spring break ever…
As part of “Stranger Things” day, Netflix has released a new teaser for season 4 that features Eleven writing a love letter to Mike that promises “the best spring break ever.”
When “Stranger Things” season 3 ended all the way back in 2019, Eleven lost her powers during the final battles to push back the advances from the Upside Down and she also lost the person who loved her most in the world. Jim Hopper sacrificed himself to stop a group of Russian scientists from opening a rift between two worlds, which would allow the Upside Down to fully crossover into a new world.
Of course, Hopper didn’t actually die — he’s currently being held at a Russian prison camp where they are doing experiments that include raising a Demogorgon — but in his absence Joyce Byers took responsibility for Eleven and she finally had enough of Hawkins, Indiana.
So Joyce packed up her house and kids and moved everybody to California, which is where the teaser picks up as Eleven pens a letter to Mike that talks about how much she loves her new home and school. In reality, Eleven is struggling to fit in and it’s clear she’s ready to return to her old stomping grounds in Indiana.
The final few moments of the clip seem to tease the craziness that lies ahead during “Stranger Things” season 4 but without revealing too much.
Take a look at the new teaser and get ready for the return of “Stranger Things” in 2022.
