The new trailer for “The Boys” season 3 has arrived with a deeper look at Homelander coming unhinged and Butcher trying to level the playing field…
“There is something wrong with Homelander. There’s something broken. He’s lost his fucking mind.”
That’s a warning from Starlight during the new trailer for “The Boys” season 3, which actually kicks off with Homelander in damage control mode spouting the same lines over and over again to explain away his relationship with Stormfront, who just so happened to be a 100 year old Nazi in disguise.
With Stormfront burnt to a crisp and his son taken away from him, Homeland is coming unglued, which is what leads to Starlight’s warning about the leader of The Seven as he becomes more and more dangerous with each passing day.
The trailer also teases another key storyline coming this season when Billy Butcher looks to level the playing field against the Supes by taking a microdose of Compound-V that gives him powers for 24 hours. As seen in the previous trailer and now this one. Butcher decides to use his new found power to cut down some of the so called heroes Vought International has been employing while his old friend Mother’s Milk believes he’s going against the very spirit of the mission they started years ago.
The new trailer also reveals a much better look at Jensen Ackles, who joins the cast as Soldier Boy — the original leader of Vought’s super team called Payback after he fought in World War II. Soldier Boy appears to come out of retirement for the new season but how exactly might he be used to bring Homelander’s homicidal rampage to an end?
