Get a first look at the new series “WandaVision,” which will reunited the Scarlet Witch with Vision in a show unlike anything Marvel has done before…
It’s safe to say Marvel Studios new series “WandaVision” will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
The first trailer for the new series that reunites Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) with Vision (Paul Bettany) has arrived with a look at what lies ahead for this very trippy show headed to Disney+.
The series is one part television sitcom, another part superhero drama and all together it’s going to be an ambitious show that will eventually tie back into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Here’s the official synopsis from Marvel:
The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Of course if you’ve seen “Avengers: Infinity War,” you already know that Vision dies at the hands of Thanos so he can retrieve the mind shone to build his Infinity Gauntlet. So how exactly is Vision back alive and kicking in this new series?
The popular theory is that Wanda suffers some kind of mental break and the “sitcom” portion of the show takes place in her own head as she copes with the loss of Vision. Comic book readers should already know Wanda’s long history with similar storylines.
Take a look at the new trailer for “WandaVision” and get ready for the show to debut on Disney+ in the near future.
