A new full length trailer for “Wonder Woman 1984” arrived on Saturday with the first look at Kristen Wiig after being transformed into Cheetah…
Diana Prince will be fighting enemies from all sides when “Wonder Woman 1984” arrives in theaters.
A new full length trailer for the upcoming sequel that reunites directer Patty Jenkins with Gal Gadot takes place around 70 years after the events of the original film.
Set in the 1980’s, Diana will face off with Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), a brilliant yet dangerous villain as well as Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig), who eventually transforms into the vicious Cheetah.
While previous clips have revealed that Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) will also return in this movie, the new trailer showcased a battle scene between Wonder Woman and Cheetah for the first time.
Of course “Wonder Woman 1984” suffered delays in its release date thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic with the film originally slated to drop in theaters this summer but the current release date stands at Oct. 2. It must be noted that the new trailer teases the movie “only in theaters” but doesn’t list a release date, which means there’s a chance the film gets pushed back yet again.
For now, enjoy the new look at “Wonder Woman 1984” ahead of the movie’s release.
