The first teaser for “Yellowstone” season 4 has arrived with a brief look at what lies ahead along with new cast members and characters joining the show…
“Yellowstone” ended on a massive cliffhanger at the end of season 3 after family patriarch John Dutton was gunned down on the side of the road, Kayce Dutton was attacked by gunmen in his office and Beth Dutton’s office was blown up by a bomb.
It’s safe to say there’s a lot to unpack when “Yellowstone” season 4 returns this fall on the Paramount Network and the first teaser has now been revealed with a very brief glimpse of what lies ahead.
The video serves as a recap of sorts for the previous season while also showing Rip finding John Dutton bleeding out and near death after he was shot several times by some unknown assailants.
In addition to the new teaser being released, “Yellowstone” season 4 has also added some new cast members with their character details also revealed. Here’s who is joining the show:
Jacki Weaver (“Silver Linings Playbook,” “Birdbox”) as Caroline Warner, the CEO of Market Equities — the company that’s been a thorn in the side of the Duttons since arriving in season 3
Piper Perabo (“Covert Affairs,” “Coyote Ugly”) as Summer Higgins, an outside protestor from Portland who is against the state funded police force that protects industrialized farming and the killing of animals.
Kathryn Kelly (“Nashville,” Dolly Parton’s “Heartstrings”) as Emily, a vet tech who soon strikes up a relationship with the new cowboy
Finn Little (“Storm Boy,” “Angel of Mine”) will portray Carter; a young boy reminiscent of a young Rip. Beth decides the ranch is the best place to teach him a lesson on how to be a man.
Little will join the show as a series regular while all of the other characters are set for recurring status during season 4. Will Patton, who appeared in season 3 as Jamie Dutton’s biological father will also join “Yellowstone” season 4 in a series regular role as well.
While nothing has been confirmed, rumors are swirling that “Yellowstone” season 4 will debut in November but no exact date has been announced yet. For now, enjoy the new teaser and get ready for a full trailer later this year before the show returns!
