The first look at Yellowstone season 5 has arrived with a trailer that officially introduces John Dutton as the new Governor of Montana…
He is the opposite of progress and now he’s the new Governor of the state of Montana.
That’s how we’re introduced to John Dutton in the first trailer for Yellowstone season 5 as the family patriarch, who only ran for office to stop his son from possibly winning, is now sworn into office but he soon finds out that politics works a lot different than running the largest ranch in the United States.
The trailer teases John’s first days in office as he attempts to maintain control over the state while also fighting to protect his family’s land from the massive corporation that’s fighting tooth and nail to take it away from him to build a new ski resort and airport right in the middle of his ranch.
Of course, John won’t be fighting alone because he’s bringing his family with him — including his daughter Beth, who apparently will be filling in as his new chief of staff after the previous person didn’t seem to meet his standards.
Of course, John becoming governor won’t solve all of his problems because there are still plenty of home grown issues to deal with as well and that will certainly take center stage when Yellowstone makes its return.
Take a look at the new trailer and get ready for Yellowstone to return with two episodes on Sunday night, November 13 on the Paramount Network.
