The first two actors for the upcoming Walking Dead companion series have been cast including a “Harry Potter” veteran….
The new Walking Dead companion series set to debut on AMC in 2016 has started to add to the cast for the still largely secretive project.
The show will be based in the same universe as ‘The Walking Dead’ but at a different place with a completely different cast unrelated at all to the main show airing Sunday nights on AMC currently.
The new series is expected to focus on a male divorced teacher and a female guidance counselor, who are still yet to be cast for the pilot.
Frank Dilane (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) will be cast as the female guidance counselor’s son, who struggles with drug addiction.
Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) plays his ambitious sister in the pilot.
The untitled Walking Dead project is currently being called ‘Cobalt’ according to Deadline but other details about the series remain very sketchy for now.
Stay tuned for more details on the new Walking Dead show as it becomes available.
