Vin Diesel will tackle the superhero genre in his next film titled ‘Bloodshot’ and the first trailer has just arrived…
Vin Diesel has voiced a talking tree for several movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but now he will lead his own superhero film — potentially a franchise with enough success — titled ‘Bloodshot’.
Based on the Valiant Comics character of the same name, ‘Bloodshot’ follows a fallen U.S. soldier played by Diesel who is injected with a new type of nanotechnology that allows his body to heal rapidly while interfacing with computers and morphing his body into different shapes and sizes, almost like a liquid Terminator. Code named Bloodshot, he is sent out into the field and given a mission to exact revenge on the people responsible for his death and the death of his wife.
As you’ll see in the trailer, it turns out that Bloodshot is just being used as a weapon sent out in a new mission every time with the person responsible for his wife’s death being reprogrammed into his subconscious as the latest target of the military machine that built him.
Obviously, Bloodshot wants to get to the bottom of this nefarious company that built him and how that ties back to the actual death of his wife while trying to track down his real memories.
