The final episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ is less than one week away as the eight season long run of the series will air on Sunday night, May 19 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
In the penultimate episode, Daenerys Targaryen launched an offensive against King’s Landing, which led to the surrender of the Lannister army after Cersei Lannister realized there was no hope of winning. Rather than giving them reprieve, Daenerys bathed the entire city in fire from the back of her dragon as she killed soldiers along with hundreds of men, women and children just trying to survive the battle.
Now in the aftermath of Daenerys’ victory, she is ruling over a kingdom of ashes while those closest to her are horrified at her actions.
What will Jon Snow do after watching his queen kill all those innocent people? Did Daenerys finally live up to her family’s legacy and go mad just like her father?
