The new “Scream VI” trailer has arrived with a promise that the latest Ghostface is unlike any other in the history of the horror franchise…
“There’s never been one like me, Gale.”
That’s the promise delivered from the new Ghostface that comes after Gale Weathers in the new “Scream VI” trailer that dropped on Thursday.
The upcoming sequel from the same team that wrote and directed “Scream” in 2022 transplants the characters from Woodsboro to New York City where they soon find out that the past is coming back to haunt them once again.
The new sequel will also feature the return of Hayden Panettiere as she reprising her role as Kirby from “Scream 4” along with Courteney Cox coming back as the only legacy character to appear in all six “Scream” films. Of course, Neve Campbell is sitting this one out after she was unable to come to a financial agreement with the studio to return as Sidney Prescott again.
The new trailer also features an interesting twist as a Ghostface museum is revealed with items from all the past murders — and if you pay close attention you’ll ever see a robe in the collection that once belonged to Stu Macher from the party he threw back in the original “Scream” in 1996.
“Scream VI” arrives in theaters on March 10 but for now check out the new trailer and you can also watch along with the crew from Rewind of the Living Dead as they react to the new trailer while offering a few predictions about what may happen in the upcoming film! You can also check out the new “Scream VI” poster below as well.
