When “Yellowstone” finally returns on Sunday night, November 7 for a special two-hour debut, a lot of questions will need to be answered about the future of the entire Dutton family.
The end of season 3 saw John Dutton gunned down on the side of the road and left for dead while Beth Dutton saw a bomb delivered to her office that exploded before she could warn her assistant not to open the package. Finally Kayce Dutton heard gunfire outside his office and he had just enough time to overturn a desk before masked assailants broke in and started blasting away with automatic weapons.
The new trailer for “Yellowstone” season 4 revisits all three of those incidents while leaving it up in the air how many members of the Dutton family actually survive as the rest of the Yellowstone-Dutton Ranch goes under lockdown after news of the attacks starts to spread.
Who is responsible for going after the Dutton family?
It’s safe to say John and the rest of his clan have made more than a few enemies over the years including the powerful Market Equities corporation, who was dead set on building an airport and eventually a ski lodge that would run right through the middle of the Dutton’s ranch.
