‘Yellowstone’ has already been renewed for a third season on the Paramount Network with ‘Lost’ star Josh Holloway joining the cast…
‘Yellowstone’ has been the most successful original series produced for the Paramount Network so it’s no surprise that the show was renewed for third season on the same day that season 2 was set to premiere.
Created by Taylor Sheridan (‘Hell or High Water’, ‘Wind River’) and John Linson, ‘Yellowstone’ was the most watched new series last year after debuting on the Paramount Network. A star studded cast decorates ‘Yellowstone’ led by Oscar winner Kevin Costner as well as Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes and Wes Bentley, the show focuses on the Dutton family — owners of the biggest ranch in Montana — and a growing number of enemies looking to take over the land for their own needs.
In addition to ‘Yellowstone’ receiving a season 3 renewal, the cast is expected to grow by at least one with ‘Lost’ and ‘Colony’ star Josh Holloway set to recur during the third season, which will debut in 2020.
Holloway most recently starred on the USA Network alien series ‘Colony’ and he will serve as a recurring character named Roarke Carter — a handsome, charming, shaggy-haired hedge fund manager — who will be coming to Montana when ‘Yellowstone’ returns next year.
‘Yellowstone’ airs on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET on the Paramount Network.
