“Yellowstone” season 5 has a debut date set for November for the biggest season yet of the hit show while Sylvester Stallone’s new series is set to premiere the same night...
“Yellowstone” season 5 just got into production in Montana and now the series has a return date set for November 13 on the Paramount Network. The series airs on Sunday nights at 9 p.m.
The new season will be the biggest yet for the smash hit series with 14 episodes comprising season 5.
When “Yellowstone” season 4 ended, John Dutton was running for Governor of Montana, Beth Dutton finally got revenge on her brother Jamie, which ended with him killing his birth father after he ordered a hit on the entire Dutton family. Beth and Rip got married while Kayce went on a strange vision quest after learning that Monica was pregnant with their second child.
Oh and that’s not even addressing the massive corporation hellbent on tearing the Yellowstone-Dutton Ranch apart so an airport and ski resort can be built on that land.
Needless to say, there’s plenty of drama coming in “Yellowstone” season 5.
In addition to that news, Paramount also announced that the new series “Tulsa King” starring Sylvester Stallone will also debut on November 13. The first two episodes will drop on the Paramount Network that Sunday with subsequent episodes debuting each week after that.
For the debut, “Tulsa King” will air directly after the “Yellowstone” season 5 premiere on November 13 with the second episode then airing on November 20.
“Tulsa King” is also created by Taylor Sheridan — the man behind “Yellowstone” — and it will serve as Stallone’s first ever major foray into television. Here’s a synopsis for the series:
“TULSA KING follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.”
Terence Winter — best known for his work on “The Sopranos” as well as the writer for the film “The Wolf of Wall Street” — will serve as showrunner for “Tulsa King.
In addition to Stallone, the series also stars Andrea Savage (“I’m Sorry), Martin Starr (“Silicon Valley”), Max Casella (“The Tender Bar”), Domenick Lombardozzi (“The Irishman”), Vincent Piazza (“Boardwalk Empire”), Jay Will (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), A.C. Peterson (“Superman & Lois”) with Garrett Hedlund (“The United States vs. Billie Holiday”).
