Zachary Quinto will be making a return to television alongside Ashleigh Cummings in the new AMC horror series ‘NOS4A2’…
AMC will be jumping into another horror series with the launch of ‘NOS4A2’ based on the book of the same name from author Joe Hill and now the two main stars for the show have been cast.
Zachary Quinto — best known for his TV roles in ‘Heroes’ and ‘American Horror Story’ — and Ashleigh Cummings will star as hero and villain in the 10-episode series that is expected to air on AMC in 2019.
‘NOS4A2’ (sounds like ‘Nosferatu’) is an inventive take on the vampire genre with Cummings playing the heroine in the story while Quinto will play a charismatic serial killer who feeds on the soul of children.
“Quinto will play Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Manx finds his whole world threatened when a young woman in New England (Cummings) discovers she has a dangerous gift.
Cummings will play Vic McQueen, a young, working-class artist whose creativity awakens a supernatural ability to track Manx (Quinto). What Vic lacks in social confidence, she makes up for in courage, humor, and tough-as-nails grit. She strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.”
‘NOS4A2’ went into production this week with filming for the series taking place in Rhode Island.
The 10 episode series will then debut on AMC in 2019.
