Breaking Bad kicked off its final season with the biggest ratings in the show’s history…
Walter White may have instructed his brother-in-law Hank to tread lightly during Breaking Bad’s season premiere last night, but the show certainly didn’t do that when it came to the ratings.
The returning AMC drama, which kicked off its final 8 episodes last night, pulled in monster ratings with 5.9 million viewers tuning in, making it the highest rated episode in series history.
The ratings were a whopping 102-percent increase over the season 5 premiere last summer that earned 2.9 million viewers.
Breaking Bad’s final season returns next Sunday night at 9pm ET/PT.
