The title of the new season of ‘American Horror Story’ has been revealed as ‘Hotel’ and while details are sketchy the one part that is true about the upcoming fifth iteration of the popular FX show — Lady Gaga will be the star.
No, seriously.
Lady Gaga revealed the news via her Twitter on Wednesday, which was later confirmed by ‘American Horror Story’ show runner and creator Ryan Murphy.

As of now there are no other details about the upcoming season other than the show will debut in October on FX.
‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ will likely undergo a major facelift from the previous season titled ‘Freak Show’ with many of the show’s past regulars already booked for other gigs. Sarah Paulson will be starring in Murphy’s new show ‘American Crime Story’ while Emma Roberts has joined another Murphy project ‘Scream Queens’.
And then there’s Jessica Lange, who said prior to ‘Freak Show’ that the fourth season of ‘American Horror Story’ would likely be her last. As of now there’s been no word if she might still return or if Lady Gaga might serve as a replacement.
