Outsiders tells the story of a clan known as the Farrells, who have been surviving in the mountains of Kentucky for longer than anyone can remember, far away from the conventions of society while also living far outside the law. Conflict lands on their front doorstep when a coal company buys land on the mountain and they want the Farrells gone but this mountain family isn’t going away without a fight.
Starring David Morse, Joe Anderson, Ryan Hurst, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Wright and Gillian Alexy, Outsiders opened with some of the best ratings WGN America has received since launching their original programming slate and now the show will get a second season as as result.
