Fans in attendance at San Diego Comic Con next Saturday will get a first glimpse at Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 as the cast and crew from the highly anticipated sequel appear, but ahead of that event director James Gunn has given a first look at the upcoming movie via some concept art.
The vision of the new film revealed late Thursday night shows the Guardians of the Galaxy back in action — including a Baby Groot still in his infancy — along with a new character named Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 isn’t due out until May 5, 2017 but principle photography for the film is wrapping up soon after Chris Pratt recently finished his final scenes for the movie just recently.
Take a look at the concept art and expect a lot more coming from Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 next weekend when the Marvel panel debuts at San Diego Comic Con 2017.
