When Rick Grimes finally encountered Negan at the end of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, he knew he wasn’t running into just another psychopathic megalomaniac like The Governor or a bunch of sociopathic doomsday believers like the Wolves. No, this time Rick Grimes ran into his equal.
As Negan laid it out to Rick and his group of survivors last season — their way of life has now officially ended and he is both God and the Devil in their world as of now.
In a new trailer for ‘The Walking Dead’ season 7, Negan looms large while sending a haunting message to the people in Alexandria and any of the other communities that might dare to oppose him.
“Whatever you had going for you, that’s over. Thing is — I am everywhere.”
