‘The Walking Dead’ debuted a three minute clip from the season 7 premiere on Saturday at New York Comic Con showing the bloody aftermath following Negan’s brutal beatdown of one of Rick’s group.
There’s still no clue who was on the receiving end of the barbed-wire baseball bat — that’s literally dripping with blood in the clip — but it’s clear that Rick is devastated by what he just witnessed.
Obviously given the fact that Rick is alive in the clip eliminates him from contention but then again no one actually believed he’d be the one having a first date with Negan’s best girl Lucille anyways.
The video stays close on Negan and Rick’s conversation with only a few cries heard from the background that sound like a woman so that means either Maggie or Sasha but nobody else is actually shown during the clip.
