Get a first look at Kevin Smith’s directorial debut on ‘Supergirl’ when the show returns in January…
Writer, director and all around awesome guy Kevin Smith has left Central City and relocated to National City…at least temporarily.
Following two directing gigs on ‘The Flash’, Smith makes his debut on ‘Supergirl’ with the first episode on the back half of season two in an episode titled ‘Supergirl Lives’.
The title of the episode is partially an homage to Smith’s ill fated ‘Superman Lives’ script that was originally with Tim Burton attached to direct before the entire project fell into disarray. For more on that, watch the excellent documentary “The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?’.
Regardless, Smith picks up the reigns on his episode that debuts on January 23 including a very interesting moment where Supergirl is bleeding and there’s a red sun behind her.
