‘The Leftovers’ will come to an end with a final season debuting on HBO on Sunday, April 16 and the first full length trailer teases a lot of what’s about to unfold in the last episodes of the series.
Kevin Garvey has relocated once again — this time reuniting with his father in Australia — and judging by the trailer it appears that seven years after the sudden departure, the world is about to be washed clean by a great flood.
If that story sounds familiar it should except this time around Kevin might be the world’s only hope for survival.
Of course if there’s one thing abudantly clear about ‘The Leftovers’ it’s that nothing is ever abundantly clear with this series.
Still, the first trailer is plenty intriguing with a look at pretty much everybody coming back for the final season — and it’s all set to the song “SOS” by Abba and if you know anything about ‘The Leftovers’ this is not a show that just picks a random track for a trailer like this without some hidden meaning.
