There’s a lot to unpack in the new ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ trailer that just dropped a week before the show debuts…
‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ will debut on Wednesday night, September 12 on FX but with only one week to go, a new trailer has debut that really gives a first look at the season ahead.
Over the course of eight seasons, ‘American Horror Story’ has notoriously released odd trailers meant to tease the upcoming season but this new trailer actually shows some footage as well as a look at the two casts coming together for this crossover event.
The cast from ‘Murder House’ is back in this trailer including Jessica Lange, who returns to the show for the first time in several seasons, as well as Dylan McDermott as Dr. Ben Harmon and Taissa Farmiga as his daughter Violet.
We also see much of the cast from the third season of ‘American Horror Story’ titled ‘Coven’ including the Supreme herself Sarah Paulson as well as the return of Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery.
Perhaps the most interesting flashes throughout the trailer include a first look at Cody Fern as the evil eyed Michael Langdon, who returns as a much older character after last being seen as the baby Anti-Christ in the first season of ‘American Horror Story’.
There are also more than a few apocalyptic images to go along with the theme this season including a brief shot of a wasteland and a mushroom cloud following a nuclear explosion.
