Because you can’t get enough selfies and food porn pictures on Instagram, you can now get your Star Wars there as well….
Instagram may be a safe haven for selfies, half naked pictures and a whole lot of sushi but now it’s also home to a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars has started its own Instagram account.
The first picture posted on the new Star Wars Instagram? Yep you guessed it — a Darth Vader selfie (where is the lightsaber when you need it?!?)
The account has mostly posted random toy pictures and a group slave Leia picture from Comic Con, but as production starts on the new Star Wars: Episode VII in January expect a few more behind the scenes photos to get put up and then every website in the world (including this one) reposting them as Star Wars news.
Regardless, it appears JJ Abrams vision for Star Wars really is taking things into the 21st Century….whether that’s a good thing or not remains to be seen.
