Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke will take over the iconic role of Sarah Connor for the upcoming Terminator reboot….
‘Game of Thrones‘ actress Emilia Clarke will join Linda Hamilton and Lena Headey on the list of people who have played Terminator favorite Sarah Connor because she’s just been cast in the iconic role for the upcoming reboot of the series from Paramount.
According to the studio, Clarke was in the running against a couple of other actresses but ultimately it had to be her fiery spirit that won the casting directors over and now she’ll play the part in the new film.
The film will be directed by Alan Taylor, who was also at the helm of this summer’s well reviewed and received sequel Thor: The Dark World.
There have been several rumors who else might end up in the Terminator reboot including Zero Dark Thirty actor Jason Clarke, who is apparently up for the role of John Connor — Sarah’s son.
There’s not much else known about the film just yet outside of a 2015 release date and at least a cameo appearance from original Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger.
