Edgar Wright Teases Possible Spoilers for Upcoming ‘Ant-Man’ Movie

Director Edgar Wright managed to get everyone in a frenzy this week when he released a single image via his blog teasing his upcoming feature ‘Ant-Man’…

Everyone has been curious for months to know what ‘Ant-Man‘ will be about and which version of the popular Marvel character will actually be in the upcoming movie.

In the comic books, Hank Pym was the creator of the Ant-Man technology, but then years later a man named Scott Lang comes along and uses the Ant-Man suit for let’s say business purposes of his own.

Actor Paul Rudd has signed on to star in the upcoming Ant-Man feature, but neither Marvel nor Wright have actually confirmed which version of the character he might be playing.

The teaser photo seen below posted on Wright’s personal blog is from ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes‘ and an episode titled ‘To Steal an Ant-Man’. In the episode, Lang steals the Ant-Man suit from creator Hank Pym to allow him to go on a crime spree. Now to add on a little extra weight to the theory that Wright is contemplating this particular storyline, at San Diego Comic Con two years ago when Ant-Man was first announced and a brief clip was shown to the audience, it was Ant-Man running down a hallway of what appeared to be a vault room as he shrunk and grew while knocking out several guards along the way.

Could this be the teaser that confirms Scott Lang will at the very least play a major part in the upcoming ‘Ant-Man’ movie?
