Former ‘Sons of Anarchy’ front man Ron Perlman has picked up his first major gig since leaving the show with a new series set to film for Amazon…
Ron Perlman was a mainstay on ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ from the very first episode of the series, but during season 6 his character Clay Morrow finally met his end courtesy of stepson Jax Teller in one of the final hours of the show’s yearly run.
With the FX biker drama behind him, Perlman has booked his next gig with a pilot ordered from Amazon for a new series called ‘Hand of God‘.
The scoop comes courtesy of Deadline:
“Hand Of God centers on the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him.”
The series pilot is set to be directed by World War Z‘s Marc Forster in his television directing debut.
