The doctor is in at the new Terminator reboot as Matt Smith has been added to the cast of the upcoming
film….
The Terminator is back and as the film moves starts production, the cast continues to grow with the latest addition coming by way of ‘Doctor Who’ with Matt Smith being confirmed as the film’s newest star.
Smith is best known for his role as the 11th doctor on the hit BBC series ‘Doctor Who’, but that stint recently came to an end and now he’ll enter another long time franchise as The Terminator looks to get a jump start from the first film released 30 years ago.
According to EW, Smith will play an anti-robot resistance fighter with close ties to John Conner, who will be played by Jason Clarke in this movie.
The film stars ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke as Sarah Conner with Jai Courtney taking over the role of Kyle Reese, while Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his famous role from the original film, although what part he’ll play exactly in this movie is still to be revealed.
